Our first technology update video is available on Youtube. I wanted to show how modifying the environment works since I've recently improved this area. The graphics are still in the early prototype phase and I'm only rendering debug colours rather than materials - I find the aesthetic oddly pleasing though.
I've now mostly fixed the bug mentioned in the video, though there are still some cases where making really large modifications close to the camera will temporarily show up seams. Fixing that will probably have to wait a while since it adds a fair amount of complexity to the code along with some extra latency for something which probably won't show up in game. I'm considering a revised way for handling large changes which would eliminate these edge cases.
