In this release we've focused on improving the voxel editor's Materials management and quality of life tools. You can now do the following: (More details and improvements in the changelog.)
- Edit material types.
- Remove unused materials from your worlds - see screenshots below.
- Merge material templates to keep existing materials and add new ones.
- Import Minecraft maps with 60 new blocks, and easier to browse Minecraft materials layout - see screenshot below.
- Move the Edit Cursor to the surface you point to using the context menu.
- Instantly scale up your models by up to 64 times.
- Revert to last save.
- Use presets to quickly export to Blender 3D, Unity 3D or Unreal Engine - see the improved export documentation.
- Download 20 open sourced Avoyd worlds and other free assets and resources to use for editing (vox files, heightmap generators etc.)

After using "Remove Unused Materials" on the model, only 29 Materials remain. In the Material window you can see the remove, edit, and add material type buttons above the grid of swatches. Below the grid you can see the remove material, copy and paste material and resize grid buttons.
Minecraft map Mattupolist by mattuFIN imported in Avoyd Voxel Editor. The Materials window is open to show a grid of 995 Minecraft blocks mapped to Avoyd Materials. The Material swatches are ordered by block types such as plants, wood types, metals, emissives, glass and items.
