https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/383338158512930817/910106072730206228/unknown.png i got some weird blocks like theese, also smooth snow does not work properly.
it should look like that : https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/383338158512930817/910106418550538260/2021-11-16_12.png
Thanks for posting this issue. Is this a Minecraft import or another type of import (heightmap or .vox file)?
If you are able to share the file we can take a look at it. If it's a Minecraft map we only need one of the *.mca
files in the region
folder which when imported shows the problem. If you dont have a Dropbox/Google Drive/etc. account to share files with you can email a single .mca
file to us at support@enkisoftware.com, or email us and we can create a shared folder for you to upload to.
For the smooth snow does not work properly can you describe what you mean - what is it expected to work like and what do you see in the Avoyd Voxel Editor?
I've been able to reproduce this error on maps made with Minecraft after the flattening but before version 1.16. I'm working on a fix, but in the meantime maps for versions before the flattening or after and including Minecraft v1.16 should work well.
it was a Minecraft world import but i can't really share it since it was a commission
We've now fixed this in Avoyd 0.8.11 - many thanks for reporting the issue!
Thanks for the quick fix ^^ also i had a issue about textures with Avoyd but it was 2-3 months ago i had a volcano with some Nether rack and Soul sands they was like normal stone on render. Normally its like that (from C4D) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/383338158512930817/922800001921482773/unknown.png
but in Avoyd render its like that : https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/383338158512930817/922800551253647370/unknown.png (also a nice thing i was able to import and render whole 5k x 5k map with avoyd but had this texture loss)
If the problem was with an older version of Avoyd you should try re-importing as this might fix the issue. Netherrack should be a reddish brown and Soul Sand a dark brown.
Once you've imported with the current version of Avoyd you should also be able to tune the material parameters in to get the colour, emissive, transparency etc. which you want.
Note that Avoyd is a pure 'voxel' editor and renderer, so we don't currently support textures and block models.
Thanks <3
